The National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC)

The NHTRC is a national, toll-free hotline, available to answer calls and texts from anywhere in the country, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. The NHTRC is a program of Polaris Project, a non-profit, non-governmental organization working exclusively on the issue of human trafficking. Call to report a tip, to connect with anti-trafficking services in your area, or to request training and technical assistance, general information or specific anti-trafficking resources.

MSU Safe Place

MSU Safe Place is the only university in the country with its own on-campus domestic violence shelter program. Safe Place serves students, faculty, staff and their spouses/partners and non-affiliated members of the surrounding communities. We provide advocacy, emergency shelter, counseling, support groups, safety planning, information and referrals to survivors of violence and their minor children.  All services are free and confidential.

 

MSU Center for Survivors

The MSU Center for Survivors provides immediate crisis intervention and advocacy services to women and men who have been impacted by rape or sexual assault. Crisis Intervention & Advocacy Services available include: a 24-hour hotline; 24-hour medical advocacy; support groups; and legal advocacy. These services are available to survivors of sexual assault and their non-offending significant others.
